• Details about the Client? Yourself. The client is a new setup company for friendship and business associate. No clue about online services. Wanted to test market before do a proper launch. Want to use online to test the potential.

• Why SEM & its objectives – Using SEM, get leads which are for friendship & Business Association.- Need to create a sound database which can be used later for email marketing.

• It is a Lead based Campaign.- Is a lead based campaign, where the visitor is required to give a valid database.

• Which are the TAs? – Anybody from your selected Geos.- Above the age 25. male and female. People who have lost touch with their old business associates and people those who are single looking for a friend

• What is their Search Behavior and Search intentions? – Agency to decide.

• What geographies? – Your Selected Countries.- People in UK and New Zealand

• What is the budget? – USD 50 (or Rs. 2150.00)

• What is the duration of the campaign? – Till August 17, 2007 11:59 PM

• What is a Quality Click / Lead / Enquiry / Sale? – The lead should have a name, an email, a telephone number, and a website, a Commen(where have you worked and the duration).

• What are the volumes to be delivered? 100 leads @ 50 cents a lead


• What are the tracking & reporting Requirements? – A tracking code will be given to you which needs to be pasted on your landing page.- Should have a valid tracking of IP as well. Should not have more then two leads from a particular IP.

• What are the brand Guidelines? Agency to decide.- This is a purely friendship and business associate site. Which will lead to meeting with your old friends/business associate

First SEM session

IAMAI along with some of the expert professionals(pinstorm, communicate 2 etc) has started first ever course of teaching SEM to some beginners and some of those who have basic understanding. Today 14th July was the first session of our course. We are batch of 8 guys who are very keen to understand this medium...
The Session was of a great help as veterans from the industry Mahesh and Vivek told us the need of the hour and how important is SEM not for a advertisers/publisher but also how you can target your target audience. To be precise- "Precision Marketing".

Hope the coming sessions will be more exciting...
