SMS as a category has become very competitive- there are mobile operators who provides SMS solution & now there are enough players who are providing FREE/PAID SMS through web, desktop and mobile. Players are providing new age SMS mobile applications, SMS desktop applications. I feel in the present times we should look at various options of sending SMS(cheap/economical SMS). Let's look at some of these players.

Receivers of the messages need not be registered Way2SMS users. Each text message that is sent out has an advertisement appended to it, thus making it the revolutionary 'Mobitisement'.

This is a very informative & comprehensive blog on SMSing. It seems like mundu SMS comes as close as it gets to conventional SMSes in India. Also it doesnt infringe on my privacy by displaying ads. The other SMS options are also a great cost-effective means of texting.Wah! what a way to beat the recession !! :)

Internet SMSing is getting very close to conventional SMS, and SMSing right from another window on my laptop screen gives me great freedom from mobile while at work. Web-based SMS is very addictive and the best thing is it is faster, handy and cheap.'Free' from number of players and only 15p from mundu is really rocking. Not letting the person on the otherside even know about my piggybagging.. I am indeed happy SMSing !!
